Wall Christ

A presence that accompanies

The Wall Christ allows the central figure present in the piece to be contemplated directly.

By visually separating it from the full composition, attention concentrates on the body, the face, the posture and the gestures of Christ. It is a piece designed for homes, living rooms, communities and spaces where this artistic expression is meant to be kept in a wall-mounted format.

A piece placed on a wall does not remain there merely as decoration. It inhabits the same space where daily life unfolds: conversations, difficulties, celebrations, prayer, silence and rest.

The Wall Christ can become a presence that recalls the love that was given. For our workshop, this piece has a particularly close character. It does not require a large ceremonial space. It can accompany the life of a family, a small community, or a person who wishes to keep the sign of Christ before them.

Gesture over anatomy

The modeling does not seek to represent an anatomically perfect body by the standards of academic sculpture.

Its strength lies in the gesture, the expression, and the way the forms guide the gaze toward the mystery being represented. The proportions and textures should be understood through the language of the piece, not through the standards of industrial reproduction.

Craftsmanship

Each piece is cast and worked individually.

After coming out of the mold, it requires cleaning, contour review, surface treatment and the application of the finish. The shadows that appear over the face and body change according to the position of the light, allowing the expression of the piece to be perceived differently throughout the day.
